The history of this place
Giron is known for cross-country skiing and agriculture. The building belonged to the town hall from 1920. In winter, it was the meeting point for all skiers, with its refreshment stand. In summer, it became a storage space for agricultural equipment. The first accommodations were created in 1975. Even today, you are welcomed with warmth and kindness, in a friendly, family atmosphere!
Your hosts
It was in 2016 that Sabrina and Florent took up the torch and continued to uphold the values of this Girons institution. Sabrina was a caregiver, Florent was a forest ranger, but they nevertheless embarked on this adventure.
Their deep roots in the local culture and their empathy will contribute to creating exceptional stopovers.
Interior spaces
Several spaces, decorated in a chalet style, are available for our guests to gather and share wonderful moments.
A cozy lounge will be the meeting point, equipped with a small refrigerator and a sofa. But it's in the games room that you'll enjoy getting together, around a game of foosball or a board game.
The beautiful exteriors
Enjoy the region's climate in our various outdoor spaces. You can relax on one of our two terraces or gather in the shaded area under the trees.
Children will have fun in their dedicated playground, while adults can organize friendly tournaments on the pétanque court.
An indoor gymnasium and a multi-sports pitch are among our facilities.
Comfortable accommodations
Our family-run hotel in the Jura Mountains offers a wide variety of accommodations: 30 rooms and 3 cottages, accommodating one to nine people. Whatever your reason for visiting, you'll find what you're looking for in our fully equipped and welcoming rooms and cottages. Bonus: Local artists have left their works in some of the accommodations.
